Direct Care Team Members
We seek team players who are enthusiastic, caring and reliable, and genuinely want to have a positive influence on people’s lives. Our direct care team members’ work schedules vary and can include days, evenings, weekends and overnights.
You will be responsible for:

Supporting the involvement of residents with their direct personal care and health needs.

Supporting residents to maintain both formal and informal networks and encouraging them to support their social, recreation and physical exercise goals.

Encouraging and facilitating residents to make choices and decisions about all aspects of their life including diet, clothes, home and community activities

Record keeping and reporting on all residents’ progress.
We seek self-motivated, enthusiastic and caring individuals with:

Experience in delivering quality, consistent and comprehensive care.

Experience in supporting residents in a community setting.

Good organizational skills who can confidently operate the busy schedule of a home. This includes cooking nutritional meals, cleaning, and above all being able to provide a warm home environment for residents.

The ability to remain calm in a crisis and be emotionally available to our residents.

The capacity to work in partnership with residents, their families, friends, residential staff and external health professionals.

An understanding of autism spectrum disorders.

The ability to record accurate data on residents’ progress.
